Vehicle Eligibility.

As Canada's largest roadside assistance club, CAA provides 24/7 roadside service to a vast array of vehicles. To check that your specific vehicle is covered and serviceable by our technicians, check your vehicle type by clicking on the appropriate tab below.

Trucks

Service for most pickup trucks normally requires medium-duty, specialized equipment that is not always available throughout CAA SCO and elsewhere in North America.
CAA SCO will cover these vehicles only if the vehicle is not loaded with equipment/tools.

  • Service Calls per year – 4 for Basic or
    Plus Membership
  • Towing – Basic: Up to 10 km free
    Plus: Up to 200 km free
  • Battery Service
  • Locksmith Service – Basic: $50 coverage
    Plus: $100 coverage
  • Lockout Service
  • Extrication
  • Flat Tire Service
  • Emergency Gas Delivery – Basic: Gas charge
    Plus: No gas charge

Eligible Vehicles

Eligible trucks range from Ford F150-F350s and GM/Dodge 1500-3500 and all other similar makes and models of pickups. Ford F450s and F550s and GM/Dodge 4500-5500 and all other similar makes and models of pickups are not covered under any CAA Membership.

Dual-rear-wheel pickup

Unloaded dual-rear-wheel pickup trucks are eligible for all types of Roadside Assistance service, except flat tire service.

CAA SCO will cover these vehicles if the snowplow/scoop/salter equipment is removed by the Member.

Ineligible Vehicles

The types of vehicles below normally require heavy-duty, specialized equipment that is not always available throughout the CAA SCO service area and elsewhere in North America. Vehicles used for commercial purposes are not eligible for service.

Roadside Assistance is not available for this vehicle, because there is a high risk of damage and or because specialized equipment may be required to tow it.
