Why do I love being a Travel Consultant?

I have a keen passion for travel, experiencing different cultures and learning about the world. Planning, building and creating dream travel arrangements for my clients is tremendously rewarding. It gives me the opportunity to meet people from various cultures and learn from their journeys.

My top travel picks.

Travel is about getting out there and taking a break from the ordinary. It’s about having stories to tell and creating amazing experiences. Here are some of my favourite places I’ve visited around the world. Where will you create your stories?

Providenciales.

Turks and Caicos Islands

Turks and Caicos is my all-time favorite destination to book for my clients. This island is a hidden gem in the Caribbean, with over 230 miles of white sandy beaches and magnificent turquoise water. The beaches are truly surreal. The island is also home to many of the most luxurious hotels, specifically Club Med, an adults only all-inclusive paradise. This is the perfect destination for those looking for a romantic getaway. While the main attraction is the beaches, Turks and Caicos is also home to the world’s third largest Barrier Reef and some of the top diving and snorkeling spots in the world.

Insider tip: If you can, catch a glow worm tour and witness this sea creature’s mating ritual which lights up the sea like stars. These tours take place a few days after the full moon.

London.

England

London is a city unlike any other. The hip and bustling lifestyle just grabs you. Immersed in history and culture, London is the place to be if you are interested in art, architecture, fashion, history and exquisite cuisine. Visit Buckingham Palace, take in a show in the West End, Picnic in Hyde Park and don’t miss Madame Tussauds. Also known as “London’s favorite tourist attraction,” Madame Tussauds is a popular wax museum featuring replicas of the most recognizable faces in the world. Exciting and scary.

Insider tip: Choose your time wisely at Madame Tussauds, as the museum is generally quite busy and there is a lot to see. Plan enough time to visit all the different rooms and be sure to have a camera with you.

The Island of St. Lucia.

Caribbean

I am fascinated with the island of St. Lucia for its natural beauty and stunning views. Its lush rainforests and majestic mountains make the scenery out of this world, and it’s the perfect destination to relax and enjoy stunning beaches, rare volcanic sulfur springs and a sunset meal overlooking the breath-taking pitons (mountainous volcanic plugs) and sugar beach. St. Lucia has wonderful spas, diving, hiking and opportunities for exploring. A remarkable place.

Insider tip: On Friday night, go dancing at the Gros Islet street party, St. Lucia’s most famous “jump-up” party, which has taken place every week for more than 50 years. Enjoy street food, drink and music. It’s great fun.
