If you’re self-employed, retiring or in-between jobs, you can supplement your Ontario Health Insurance Plan (OHIP) with CAA Health and Dental Insurance and start saving on out-of-pocket medical expenses.

Health care coverage.

A foundation for your health and dental needs, including:

• Vision care

• Up to $400/year per registered specialist, such as massage therapists and chiropractors

• Hospital stays included

Prescription coverage.

Helps cover the cost of eligible prescription drugs, including:

• 70% coverage for generic drugs, to a maximum of $500/calendar year

• $6.50/prescription for dispensing fees

Dental coverage.

Helps cover your eligible out-of-pocket dental costs, including:

• 80% coverage for basic services such as examinations, cleanings, fillings, x-rays, extractions and some specialized procedures such as root canals, up to $900/year

For Members coming off a group health plan.

If your employment has changed and you are no longer part of a group health plan, ask about the FollowMe™ Plan. Regardless of health or age, if you apply within 60 days of your loss of group health and dental benefits, no medical questionnaire is required. Applications submitted after this 60-day period will require medical underwriting.
