Why do I love being a Travel Consultant?

Being a travel consultant is a way of life for me. This job captured my heart 36 years ago and has not let go. I’m so lucky to be able to see the world and draw from my experience to make my clients' dreams a reality and create memories that will last forever.

My top travel picks.

I specialize in exotic destinations. Regardless of where you want to go, I can get you there. For inspiration, check out some of the beautiful places I’ve been!

Burano, Venice.

Italy is an all-time favorite of mine. This country truly has it all: history, culture, food, wine, beautiful countryside and vibrant cities. Visit Rome, Venice and Milan. Take a trip to see the eerie site of Pompeii, famous for having been destroyed in the 79AD eruption of Mt. Vesuvius. It’s like a time capsule of ancient Roman life.

Insider tip: When in Venice, take a walk through the Castello district to get away from the crowds.

Cape Town.

South Africa

South Africa is one of the most diverse and enchanting countries on Earth. The people are warm and welcoming, the cities are vibrant and exciting, the landscapes are breathtaking and the opportunities for adventure are plentiful. Enjoy the beaches of vibrant Cape Town, followed by a safari, go surfing and swimming with sharks and explore the country’s numerous historical landmarks. This will be the trip of a lifetime!

Insider tip: Enjoy First Thursdays in Cape Town. On the first Thursday of every month, visitors can explore the art galleries and cultural attractions of the central city until late in the evening.

Europeans love Christmas, and one of the best ways to see this area of the world is to join in the excitement on a Christmas Market river cruise. These seasonal cruises take you to charming markets in cities like Prague, Vienna and Budapest and include on-board festivities and activities revolving around Christmas traditions. It’s a magical experience guaranteed to get you in the Christmas spirit that will make you feel like a kid again.

Insider tip: Bring lots of layers to wear. It gets cold!
